The presentation explores how TPC combines plant, laboratory, customer, and energy data with machine-learning soft sensors and optimization models to balance product quality, energy consumption, and operating cost across complex PVC manufacturing operations. The team demonstrates how real-time guidance, early-warning insights, and AI-supported knowledge management help operators make faster, more consistent decisions while reducing process variation, excessive drying, and energy use. By identifying the cost-optimal operating point within customer specifications, TPC achieved a 6% reduction in operating costs and built an in-house digital foundation designed to scale across additional plants in Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia—turning data into insight, insight into action, and action into business value.
