Our Advanced Analytics group has developed tools to improve recovery boiler performance, focusing on Reduction Efficiency, Strain Gauge Fouling Rate, and Overall Boiler Steam Efficiency. These tools enable what-if analysis, automate fouling rate monitoring and cleaning forecasts, and replace a manual Excel-based efficiency calculation with a continuous signal in Seeq. By using asset groups, these applications can be easily replicated across different facilities, reducing development time from weeks to just a few days.
