Seeq Announces Customer Award Winners at Conneqt 2023

Seeq is proud to announce this year’s Seeq Customer Award winners.

Seeq recognized the winners of the Seeq Customer Awards at Conneqt 2023, our global industry conference held in San Diego. Winners across six categories were selected for addressing top industry challenges and achieving significant business impact using Seeq self-service advanced analytics solutions.

Business Impact Award Winner: Marathon Oil

The Business Impact Award recognizes a company that demonstrates a large impact on business outcomes – growth, profitability and operational efficiency –based on insights from Seeq. 

Nurturing a culture of innovation, Marathon Oil has empowered its business users by creating a new intelligent alerting system in the cloud, scaling across multiple processes and workloads for over 4,000 wells and reducing alert creation time from months to hours.

Business Impact Award finalists: CEMEX, Merck, Ontario Power Generation

Sustainability Award Winner: SBM Offshore

The Sustainability Award recognizes a company that has established itself as a leader in sustainable practices and is actively using Seeq to positively impact the environment. 

Leading offshore energy producer SBM Offshore is accelerating toward its 2030 emission zero target and goal of reducing carbon intensity by 50% by using Seeq to track emissions and quantify its environmental impact more accurately and efficiently.

Sustainabilty Award finalists: Guardian Industries, Lumina Copper, Syngenta

Workforce Empowerment Award Winner: ExxonMobil

The Workforce Empowerment Award recognizes a company that has invested in driving business value through scaling the use of Seeq and learning resources, empowering subject matter experts to optimize their workflows. 

ExxonMobil has rolled Seeq out to more than 50 sites worldwide using a focused training plan facilitated by their own instructors, resulting in over 4,000 unique users per month that identify process anomalies, monitor equipment, predict failures, and more.

Worforce Empowerment Award finalists: Cargill, Devon Energy, Oxy

Seeq Champion Award Winner: Brent Railey, Chevron Phillips Chemicals Company

The Seeq Champion Award Recognizes an enthusiastic advocate of Seeq in their own organizations as well as their industry and beyond. 

Brent Railey, Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Chevron Phillips Chemicals Company (CP Chem), has driven Seeq adoption at CP Chem to over 300 users per month. Brent motivates frontline users to discover the value of Seeq through their own work and communicate it to their colleagues. He actively shares the lessons learned with other companies embarking on digital transformation journeys.

Innovation Award Winner: Flint Hills Resources

The Innovation Award recognizes a company that has pushed the boundaries of technology and has provided critical input to Seeq to bring innovative capabilities to market.  

Flint Hills Resources collaborated with Seeq to develop advanced enterprise monitoring capabilities, enabling engineers to scale their monitoring to 6,000 assets and over 80,000 conditions, and grow the amount of data one person can manage to significantly free up employee time each day.

Innovation Awards finalists: Williams Companies, a Nukon customer, Honeywell UOP

Customer of the Year – Winner: Eli Lilly & Company

The Customer of the Year Awards recognizes a company that exemplifies best practices across multiple awards categories. This company has accelerated their digital transformation journey with Seeq and its Seeq users are the catalysts of change required to achieve future visions and practical operating goals.   

Eli Lilly & Company has rolled out Seeq to twelve sites and more than 150 users globally. The company has pioneered developing use cases in a GxP environment for operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and contract manufacturing organization (CMO) collaboration, one of which resulted in increased production by 450k devices a year.
