Seeq Architecture 

Seeq is comprised of three separate components that together form the Seeq Decision Support Environment™ (DSE), a complete infrastructure solution. The Seeq DSE addresses the challenges of industrial process analytics by leveraging new software technologies, which works equally well for continuous and batch processes. All Seeq capabilities 
are accessible through a REST API to enable the development of industry-specific applications, solution templates, and integration with third-party products.  


Seeq System Architecture


Seeq Workbench™  

Seeq Workbench is a browser-based application (HTML5) for the visual and intuitive investigation of time series data. Seeq Workbench provides basic data visualization tools such as trending, charting, and grids, as well as innovative Visual Search and Capsule capabilities.  

Seeq Server  

The Seeq Server is the application server and storage engine for Seeq Workbench features and collaboration. The Seeq Server can be run on a desktop system, a server, or can provide additional scalability, reliability, and storage capacity by scaling out across multiple server nodes.  

Seeq Connectors  

Seeq connectors enable the Seeq Server to connect with data sources to ensure accurate, secure, real time data acquisition. Connectors are available for OSIsoft PI, Excel, OPC HDA, OPC A&E, and various DCS systems. Additional connectors are under development. 

Seeq API  

The Seeq REST API enables access to all data, functions, and objects
 in the Seeq Server, which enables third-party, visualization, and machine learning applications. Seeq API documentation is included in the product and SDKs are available for Python, Java, and C#.
