Sepideh is determined to help process industries, supporting SMEs to refine data and turn the data into profit-driving strategies and solutions.
Sepideh holds B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnique) and M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Alberta in Canada. Sepideh’s M.Sc. thesis was focused on developing empirical equations using multivariate methods such as Partial Least Square (PLS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based methods such as neural networks to point estimate heat capacity of ill-defined materials.
Sepideh has several years of experience in different chemical manufacturing plants, process unit design and midstream oil and gas operations. In her last role with Enbridge Inc. as Process and Analytics Engineer, Sepideh applied her knowledge of advanced data analytics and machine learning to solve engineering challenges. After successful execution of multiple data-driven projects, she received buy-in to launch an “Advanced Operational Analytics” team. Sepideh acted as project manager/lead of the team, and managed data-driven projects for equipment health monitoring and alarm management through collaboration across functional teams. This resulted in more than $6M/year worth of revenue and cost savings. Sepideh’s passion to help process industries leverage their rich sources of data and turn it into actionable insights was her primary motivation to join Seeq.
Sepideh lives in the Bay area of California with her husband. She is an Olympic-distance triathlete and has a 5-year plan to complete an IRONMAN race. Besides sports, Sepideh loves reading non-fiction books, daily news and having philosophical debates/conversations with friends.
