Dr. Osvaldo Bascur’s career spans 25 years with OSIsoft. Notable projects include blue print for integration of sensors data and operational management, asset and energy optimization, including a digital Plant Vision Template for Overall Process Effectiveness. He spent 6 years as Manager of Plant Information Systems at Pennzoil and 4 years Process Control Supervisor at Duval Corporation (now Freeport McMoRan).
In 2013, he was the Antoine Gaudin Award Recipient for contributions in mathematical modeling and management of process information in the mineral and metallurgical industry, published in more than 90 technical publications and a member of the SME, AIChE, AIST, IMPC and IFAC MMM.
