Michelle helps people become acquainted with Seeq in order to make their work more efficient.
Michelle graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She worked for Southern Company for a year, gaining insight into power generation. Michelle then entered the oil and gas industry working for Chevron’s Energy Technology Company in California. Here she got a diverse look at the oil industry, working on projects from upstream to downstream and developing new technologies to improve the whole process. Michelle spent some time working for the Richmond Refinery where she came to appreciate the frustration with time series data analysis in Excel.
Michelle left the engineering world for a year to explore her passions and started a portable indoor skydiving business. While she learned a lot about the business side of things and enjoyed introducing people to the beauty of body flight, she decided it was time to re-enter the technical world. When she found Seeq she was immediately excited about the mission of the company and how it could truly impact the world by improving many industries.
Michelle and her husband split their time between Colorado and California depending on which sport is right for the season. Michelle enjoys rock climbing, skydiving, snowboarding, hiking, backpacking, and traveling.
