John is excited to help Seeq’s customers succeed through his passion for combining software and data analysis to reveal operational insights.
John joins Seeq following a process control career at Eastman Chemical, a global specialty chemical company. As part of Eastman’s process control group, he used control theory, data analysis, model identification, dynamic simulation, and advanced control methods to improve automatic control and optimize process operation. In the process control technology arena, he co-developed a large-scale software application to monitor PID controller tuning and performance, and contributed to real-time control algorithms for supervisory control software.
He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
In addition to travel and sports-related activities with his wife and two college-age sons, John enjoys running, golf, and an occasional snow skiing trip to the western US.
