Eric believes software is a tool for clearer thinking.
Eric has a long interest in the manufacturing industry, having been taught about lean manufacturing and Theory of Constraints before he could drive. He has a degree in mathematics with emphases in physics, computer science, and mathematical modeling of complex systems. As a software engineer and consultant at Atomic Object, Eric worked on a sports drug testing platform, an online lab journal for elementary students, an engine telematics dashboard, and signal processing for artificial lungs. He also tinkers with an array of side projects, from manufacturing line simulations and maps of the solar system to a digital sketchbook for a non-Euclidean geometry.
Beyond software, Eric likes to sketchnote, practice mental and analog math, and write fiction in shorthand. He lives in Michigan with his wife and two small children. They enjoy biking, backpacking, stargazing, reading aloud, watching How It's Made, and cross-country driving. Eric is excited to join Seeq and help create a world-class tool for industry.
