Christopher enjoys collaborating with customers to convert process data into practical, productive and insightful solutions.
Chris started his career with Alstom Power in 2007 as Gas Turbine Assessment & Commissioning Engineer. He was the one of the pioneer team of engineers to startup the Alstom Kuala Lumpur (KL) Power Plant Support Centre in 2009 which specialized in technical support using power plant process data to maintain plant reliability and availability. In 2013, Chris joined Baker Hughes, a GE Company as one of the pilot team of turbomachinery diagnostic engineers to startup the KL Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics iCenter. There, Chris utilized time series data to perform early warning diagnostics to prevent unplanned plant downtime.
Chris holds Bachelor and Master Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional and PhD in Advanced Materials from University of Malaya.
Chris together with his wife and 2 children reside in Bandar Baru Bangi, a township 30 km away from Kuala Lumpur city center. He enjoys travelling with his family, trying out new food and culture, listening to music, and playing badminton.
