Amy implements systems that ensure Seeq's financials are accurate and meaningful.
Amy graduated from Linfield College in Oregon with a B.A. in Accounting. She started her career in Seattle during the dot-com boom and worked for several start-ups, including one which was acquired by Expedia.com.
In 2002, Amy moved to the Columbia Gorge to spend more time outdoors, and less time sitting in Seattle traffic. There, she worked in Finance at Insitu, a manufacturer of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for several years, where she met several colleagues who also became Seeq employees.
Amy enjoys the growth phase of a business, implementing procedures and systems that will scale with the company and ensuring the financial reports of a company are accurate and meaningful. A paperless accounting office has been her dream for a long time, and Seeq was the one to finally make that happen.
Outside of work, Amy is usually doing something fun with her son and daughter like biking, hiking, stand-up paddling, camping, or watching them play soccer, volleyball and lacrosse. They have a goal to visit a National Park every summer, and so far have visited Olympics NP, Crater Lake NP, Redwood NP, Grand Teton NP, and Yellowstone NP.
