Stephen enjoys creating software to solve practical problems.

Stephen has spent his career developing software to extract value from data. As a software engineer for, he worked in the business intelligence team on tools enabling thousands of business users to quickly and accurately query Amazon's petabyte-scale data warehouse. At SAIC (now Leidos), he developed algorithms to extract and display information from radar and infrared sensors.

He earned a bachelor's degree from Harvey Mudd College and a master's degree from Georgia Tech, where he focused on software for signal processing and machine learning.

Stephen lives in Oregon with his wife and enjoys music, cooking, and the outdoors.
