Shamus helps customers interact with their data in intuitive new ways that inspire deeper exploration and continuous improvement.
Shamus graduated from MIT with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After college, he stayed in the Boston area and went to work as an energy efficiency consultant at Energy and Resource Solutions. There, he lead industrial audits for a variety of large commercial and industrial clients in the Northeast.
In 2011, Shamus moved to San Francisco, mostly to escape the New England winters, but also to head up West Coast measurement and verification projects for ERS. As a key part of the California Public Utility Commission's evaluations of industrial energy efficiency programs, he traveled the state working on more than a dozen large projects, varying from industrial-scale greenhouses to oil and gas refineries.
Shamus hails from Ponce Inlet, Fla., where he grew up playing soccer, sailing and kiteboarding. In 2013, he chased the sun again, and packed up a single carry-on bag to backpack through Asia and Oceania for 9 months.
