Edgar applies his lifelong passion for software development to Seeq's products.
At the age of 9, Edgar discovered the family's TRS-80 computer collecting dust on a shelf. After repeated begging he was told that he could use it only if he learned how to program it. He got a book from the library and within a month had written “Airwolf," his first shooter game. Since then, his passion for software has only become stronger.
Utilizing his BS from MIT and MS from UVA, he has worked on simulation and control for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, Active Magnetic Bearings, Artificial Hearts, and advanced HVAC test equipment rigs. His work lead him to hard RTOS, and HVAC Manufacturing, where he spearheaded work on simulation software, process control, and manufacturing execution and information systems. On sunny (and not so sunny days) you will find Edgar on his road bike, putting miles under his wheels.
